Places to Eat in Bounemouth: Breakfast at The Real Eating Company

Yes, it is another awesome food recommendation in Bournemouth. Again, I was very lucky to be invited out with the Bournemouth Bloggers to have breakfast at The Real Eating Company.  I love being able to get together with bloggers but also that its at one of my favourite and local cafe’s where I used to go for lunch!

Now, I know that the company have amazing croissants, toasties and more but I have never had breakfast there before. If anyone even cares, breakfast is my favourite meal of the day… is anyone the same??

Basic summary, it was AWESOME and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is in Bournemouth. If you want to know more about places to eat in Bournemouth, keep reading and keep a watch out on my blog.

Like I said in my previous post La Piccola Italia, I love supporting independent businesses because they often, in fact always provide something unique. My first visit, I noticed that they put a lot of pride into their business and they seemed to care about quality.  When speaking to the owner, Helena, and from reading their website, they produce fresh food,  serve breakfast all day and want to provide comfort. What was inspiring to me was their passion to focus on charities in the future, in Bournemouth specifically was great to hear about their value of community.

Founded in 2004, Helena and her team work with local producers and make sure they all are up to date with all relevant information about the food. Speaking to Helena, she spoke about how it’s important for her to open up job opportunities to her staff to develop their career, as she said how female entrepreneurs is rare in the hospitality industry and she wants to help others career’s which was so lovely to hear. They have locations in Chichester, Horsham, Salisbury, Portsmouth and 2 in Bournemouth and they are currently building one more! There are just too many reasons why this is one of the best places to eat in Bournemouth.

So time for the best part, what I had for breakfast. It was a difficult choice for me as I wanted everything, however, I chose my fave Eggs Benedict! Firstly, my previous breakfast I had a supreme full english at a different place so I needed to change things. It also was handy because my Eggs Benedict was the most Instagrammable breakfast ever .. as soon as my food came out the camera’s were covering my food I loved it haha! It was so tasty, the sauce wasn’t overpowering as some can be so I devoured it. As you will see the pictures below, some bloggers had the full english and I got a little bit (very) jealous because it also looked amazing. Shut up Molly -- just look at the photos below!

When the company says they use fresh ingredients, they sure do. The jam that came with the croissants had 80% fruit and the orange juice was fresh but didn’t taste too strong which was perfect for me. They provide weekly roasted coffee and apple juice from local vendors. In terms of places to eat in Bournemouth this is a winner, so glad I was lucky enough to be invited.

As I mentioned, I have been previously. My colleague Jack and I were craving food before work and he told me about The Real Eating Company. So I had a warmed up croissant and a tea, it was pretty bloody lovely! Then one lunchtime, I was craving a ham and cheese toastie (which is my go to fave), so I chose The Real Eating Company. Coming with a salad, again sitting in their cosy cafe I enjoyed a toastie. All I can say is both times I was not disappointed. We are here to talk about breakfast, they have plenty of options and deals for you.

Firstly, they have a morning club, every Monday to Friday until 12pm you can have any breakfast dish with a coffee or tea for £6.95 half size or £7.95 full size -- go full! But they have more -- yes they do! Bottomless Bournemouth Brunch…. It gets better. On Saturdays and Sundays you can order any breakfast dish, alongside unlimited tea, coffee and one glass of juice for just £10. Well I am sure I have convinced you all to go? If not go read my post again! There are plenty of places to eat in Bournemouth, but very few if any offer a bottomless breakfast brunch… I need to move back to Bournemouth (someone hire me!!!).
